Accreditations

ISO 9001 Certification

ISO 9001 is a Quality Management Standard for organisations who want to prove their ability to provide services that meet the needs of their customers. This is accredited by the British Standards Institute. 

 

SIAD operates this Quality Management System across all services within the organisation.

National House Building Council

NHBC is the UK's leading independent 
standard setting body for new homes, NHBC raises construction standards of new homes and provides consumer protection through its 10-year Buildmark warranty.

All Builders that are registered with NHBC are recognised as meeting these high technical and commercial standards.

Construction Skills Certification

CSCS is the leading skills certification scheme within the UK construction industry. CSCS cards provide proof that individuals working on construction sites have the all the required training and qualifications for the work they carry out.

 

SIAD makes sure that all our tradesman have CSCS cards before working on site.

NPORS

NPORS is one of the UK's leading accreditation and registration bodies, offering flexibility, whilst maintaining standards, by working with industry accredited training providers.

SIAD ensures all employees are appropriately trained and have a NPORS Operator Card to prove their ability to safely operate or drive any item of site machinery or equipment.

SMSTS

(Site Manager Safety Training Scheme)

The SMSTS course is administered by CITB (Construction Industry Training Board) and designed for those responsible for groups of staff in the construction industry. 

 

SMSTS assists managers and potential managers to develop knowledge and understanding of there legal and moral  responsibilities in health, safety and welfare 

SIAD ensures that all its Site Manager are fully accredited under the Scheme.

ECA

The Electrical Contractors' Association (ECA) is the 'gold standard' for electrical contracting in England, Northern Ireland and Wales. The ECA works with regulatory bodies and government to build an efficient and sustainable industry, based on high standards of training and practice.

As a member of the ECA, SIAD ensures all contractors adhere to these standards.

ELECSA is a regulatory body for electrical contractors. ELECSA assess that the work done by a electrician is to a high quality and that it complies with current regulations and standards.

SIAD are a ELECSA Part P Approved Contractor, meaning we operate to the established set of required safety standards for electrical installation.

IPAF Trained

IPAF promotes the safe and effective use of powered access equipment through providing technical advice, influencing and interpreting legislation and standards and safety initiatives and training programmes.

SIAD makes sure all our tradesman are appropriately trained in category 3A and 3B to IPAF standards.

CHAS

Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme, or CHAS, is a Government sponsored authority and trusted advisor on health and safety compliance. and their accreditation scheme acts as a pre-qualification tool during the tender process.

The purpose of CHAS is to help both buyers and suppliers in the assessment of health and safety competence. With over 900 organisations actively seeking work through one of the approved contractors, CHAS is the most popular H&S accreditation in the UK.

SIAD are a CHAS accredited contractor and, as such, we adhere to the health and safety standards set by this scheme.

Constructionline

ConstructionLine is a Government-run scheme, which collects, assesses and monitors standard company information. It is the largest pre-qualification database in the UK and the UK's leading procurement and supply chain management service.

Being a member of Constructionline opens up opportunities to access a wide range of procurement contracts and projects – and it also allows buyers to access a validated pool of high quality suppliers.

SIAD have been fully verified by ConstructionLine and currently hold Silver Membership.
